Measurements: Contrast Intensity = 404 ± 90 CTU; Area = 7.23 ± 0.41 mm2; Volume = 21.70 ± 1.23 mm3.

Original image with ROI-2 Enhanced 7x ROI-2
with annotations for measurement

Measurements: Contrast Intensity = 219 ± 34 CTU; Area = 7.12 ± 0.41 mm2; Volume = 21.35 ± 1.22 mm3.

Original image with ROI-3 Enhanced 7x ROI-3
with annotations for measurement

Measurements: Contrast Intensity = 256 ± 57 CTU; Area = 23.42 ± 0.74 mm2; Volume = 70.27 ± 2.21 mm3.

Original image with ROI-4 Enhanced 7x ROI-4
with annotations for measurement

Measurements: Contrast Intensity = 215 ± 45 CTU; Area = 5.17 ± 0.35 mm2; Volume = 15.51 ± 1.04 mm3.

Total Volume = 128.83 ± 1.43 mm3.

Calcium Scoring may be defined by the volume in mm3 of calcified coronary arteries of greater than the threshold of 130 HU (or CTU) in a 3mm slice (refer to publications #22 & #23 or "A Rosetta Stone for Coronary Calcium Risk Stratification: Agatston, Volume, and Mass Scores in 11490 Individuals" by J.A. Rumberger et.al. AJR: 181,743-748, September, 2003).

The Calcium Scoring in this case study of 3mm image slice is therefore measured by the volume of 128.83 ± 1.43 mm3.
